BioI am a recent college graduate and a unbelievably cynical person.
I'm growing more and more disconnected with the world. The more I learn about human nature, the more I want to distance myself from it. The pressures I feel as a female to fit a variety of molds is disgusting to me. It does not feel natural for me to be hyper-sexual, perfectly coiffed, supremely people-oriented, coated in make-up, and wearing whatever the latest fashion trend is.
Everything I have learned and thought on so far has led me to believe true freedom is to be away from people. Society, much like people, are overrated. I'm not going to completely distance myself from the world, seeing as I'm here writing on Livejournal, but I will come close. My eventual goal is to be physically separate from most people, living in a home I built myself on 20 or so acres of land, in blissful solitude. I want to chronicle my thoughts and steps toward finding this existence that will bring me peace.
